For the Plant of Veronella (VR) we are looking for a:

 Shift Supervisor

The resource will ensure the correct allocation of staff on lines/machines, taking into account the skills of shift workers and production needs. Specifically the person will do the following activities:

-To supervise compliance with company rules on time (shift break, canteen break)

-Verify that production lines/machinery are operating in compliance with the assigned specifications and with means and methods to perform all the required quality controls

-As an Authorized Officer of 1 level, verify and ensure that the production activities are carried out by the staff in full compliance with the applicable safety standards and company regulations

-To follow the progress of the production going to understand the motivations and the reasons that are determining a deviation, correcting directly what is its competence and requiring the intervention of Support Functions where necessary

- To support the line staff by managing the criticalities of different nature that may arise in different areas, interfacing with the different support functions

-Interfacing with production, in particular: monitor the progress of production throughout the work shift and work towards the resolution of any problems that may arise. At the end of the shift he inserts in the system and/or validates the data present on the production reports.

Requirements of the position:

-Technical High School (mechanical field) or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering and Business Administration

-Previous experience in similar roles of at least 3 years in structured companies in the industrial sector (preference for the automotive sector)

-Knowledge of company regulations

-Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation

-Direct knowledge of installed processes and machines

-Basic knowledge of improvement analysis and problem solving skills and tools

-Excellent knowledge of the office package (Word, Excel, Powepoint), SAP and Outlook email.
