We live in a world in which, day after day, innovation and technology contribute to improving the quality of our lives. However, at the same time, we know that even the most simple and predictable daily gesture may have repercussions on the environment and the people who surround us. One may choose to ignore all this, by accepting technology and information put at our disposal without worrying about the possible consequences. But this would mean ignoring our children, their future, their quality of life and that of the entire planet. As technology and information grows increasingly faster, the damage can also exponentially increase. Luckily, today it seems more and more unthinkable for small, medium and large companies not to take into consideration the environment and the social context to which they belong. FIAMM has decided to operate in union with the economy, the environment, and society aware of the fact that a decision taken in any of these frameworks will have repercussions upon the others. In development and innovation, a great deal of effort is being spent in the research of eco-compatibility, as certified by ISO 14001 certificate of quality relative to the company’s system of environmental management. Through the FIAMM CULTURE initiatives, the Group supports its own territory and works to improve the social fabric. Finally, the adoption of a CODE OF ETHICS establishes in a document those principals of correctness, loyalty, integrity and transparency, and correct operational and behavioural conduct, both within the company and towards others.
