The FIAMM President, Giuseppe Zanetti, and CEO, Stefano Dolcetta, welcomed to the Company stand the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and the Italian Minister of Economic Development, Claudio Scajola. On the first day of the event, Merkel and Scajola made a long visit around the halls of the exhibition that saw this year Italy as a partner country.
.
The German show was a unique opportunity for FIAMM to present to their customers and institutional interlocutors their own projects in the innovation field and sustainable mobility, along with the new "green" products as the AGM batteries for the Stop & Start technology support, the 100% recyclable nickel sodium-chloride batteries destined to both the electric traction (the ZEBRA SONICK ones) and the back-up energy markets, as well as to the markets of the UPS and of the energy generation and distribution from renewable sources (FIAMM SONICK).
.
FIAMM also presented their research activities in the technology of last generation lithium batteries, made in collaboration with "La Sapienza" University of Rome, as well as the prototypes of acustical devices for electric motors (to avoid the dangers related to their stillness).
