The increasing content of the telematics has multiplied the types of antennas in the vehicles: that why there is the need to integrating more functions in one antenna along with improve the styling of the vehicle and to reduce the installation costs. Nowadays the antennas have to support many different signals: from AM/FM radio to mobile phone, from GPS to TV system and to SDAR (satellite radio). FIAMM is constantly engaged in the research of new antennas meeting any “infotainment” requirement and also in developing complete “systems antennas/cables” in close partnership with the most important car manufacturers, starting from the concept of the vehicles in order to optimise the performances and the packaging of the system. The continuous focus in the development and in the quality of new products strengthen the partnership in between FIAMM and top customers: PSA (Peugeot-Citroen), RENAULT (Renault, Dacia), NISSAN and VOLKSWAGEN.
